Marketing is a team sport, where players achieve their personal best through collective brainstorming and creative collaboration. The Marketing Association for Credit Unions (MACU) provides opportunities to credit union marketers everywhere in Canada. MACU is a non-profit organization supporting and enhancing the professional development of credit union marketers through education, networking and recognition.
MACU hosts an annual two day conference each year, featuring renowned marketing experts and other leading industry speakers. This popular gathering attracts people from all levels of the industry, who meet and exchange ideas with their peers. MACU's most celebrated event—the Achievement in Marketing Excellence (AIME) awards competition attracts entries from all parts of the country. The AIMEs recognize the best and brightest achievements in credit union marketing and are celebrated at our annual AIME Awards Gala Dinner held during our annual conference. MACU has also introduced the MACU Masters, a fun team competition to encourge networking and idea sharing all the while helping community or charitable organizations. The MACU Masters takes place the day before the conference and has become an intregal part of MACUs annual spring conference.
